Well, I ve finally gotten around to doing this. Since I am such a bad correspondent by email, I can tell you guys about what's going on with me, and you can come in and comment.

For the first time since I've lived in Siskiyou County, we are having spring! Usually, it's like flipping a switch - winter (flick) summer. Not this year. The past two weeks have been cool and rainy with thunderstorms. Mt. Shasta is beautiful with it's snowpack, since up there, it snowed rather than rained. Our last snow down here was in late April, and the last frost was in mid May. I can finally leave my tomato plants out on the patio overnight.

Don't know why the pic is so small - maybe because I chose it as my avatar, and that's the version it used.

Anyway, if you've gotten an email about this, it's because you are either friends or family, which means you are people I care about and want to keep in touch with.

I'm not going to say much now, because this is just to get the ball rolling. When you view this, ask me to add you as a friend, and then, you will be able to post comments (you have to join livejournal first - it's free.)

I'm going to explore the possibilities of adding family and close friends as administrators, so that they can also start threads. Not sure if that's possible with a free account, maybe not.
